The best product video in the world won't sell if the right buyer never sees it. Search visibility is the hidden multiplier behind every top seller's success.

How Troverve surfaces listings

Troverve's feed and search use a combination of signals: relevance (does your title and category match the search?), freshness (how recently was the listing created or updated?), and engagement (how many swipes, taps, and saves has this listing received?).

Title best practices

  • check_circleLead with the brand name if recognised: 'Nike Air Max 90' beats 'Running Shoes (Nice)'
  • check_circleInclude size and colour in the title for clothing: 'H&M Blue Linen Shirt — Size M'
  • check_circleAdd condition: 'Like New', 'Barely Used', 'Good Condition'
  • check_circleAvoid filler words: 'Amazing', 'Must See', 'Cheap' don't help search ranking
  • check_circleUse the category name buyers search for, not your personal shorthand

Boost with re-listing

Listings naturally fall in search ranking over time as newer items are published. Re-listing an item (deleting and reposting) gives it a freshness boost and resets its position. Do this after 7 days without a sale. Troverve allows up to 3 re-lists per item before requiring a new video.
